I needed a higher compression tube for post sclerotherapy and this brand is just as good as the one I have but costs twice as much. They are slightly see through and the skin tone is not too bad for fair skin and has a slight sheen to it. The hose is difficult to put on - it took me 10 minutes so give yourself plenty of time. But one day they feel very good. The silicone dots prevent falls and the length covers my entire leg (I'm 5ft 2" with a 30" inseam). The small size works for me and I weigh 102 pounds.
