I bought a McMurdo FastFind 200 because I often sail my sailboat alone and go long distances. The cost of plbs has come down so much I figured it wasn't a problem. There seem to be two main competitors in this market: McMurdo and ACR. Your products are very similar and will likely work just as well. I chose the McMurdo because I love the idea of a soft neoprene floatation sleeve that can be removed for out of water activities. The ACR has a hard plastic floating back that is permanently attached. The two devices are about the same size, but the McMurdo soft case makes them a little softer when attached to my strap. A note that might be helpful for new buyers: the device requires a GPS check to ensure it is working properly. The button used for this is a lot harder to press than I expected. I almost sent the device back but decided to try again. When you press the button, there's a certain "click" - press firmly until you feel it, and don't let go until you've held it down long enough.
