I added a third transmitter & tried to change the chime on another one. Now it chimes all the time even when I remove the batteries from all the transmitters. The receiver is syncing with multiple random wireless transmitters! It took a day to figure out the receiver synced up with wireless thermometers. I have two & my neighbor has one. They transmit about once a minute, so one is transmitting about every 20 seconds, making it tricky setting up the doorbell transmitters without the thermometers jumping in and syncing up first. Even after I figured out what happened and reset the receiver it took three tries to set up the 3 transmitters without the thermometers getting in the way and syncing. After that it synced with an unknown transmitter that started going off at 3:25 AM. Not funny! I had to reset the receiver yet again and set up the transmitters again. I HOPE I got a clean setup now with out any rouge transmitters involved. There should be a device code in the signal so that the receiver ONLY responds to actual door bell transmitters! BAD DESIGN. BAD ENGINEERING.ORIGINAL REVIEW:It works well & it has more than enough ring sounds. The doorbell ring sounds are recorded from actual bells & other sounds. One receiver can be synced with multiple transmitter buttons, where each transmitter can have a different ring sound, so you know which doorbell has rung. Don't use the double sided adhesive if the transmitter will get any rain on it. I tried that at my side door and it fell off with one rain event. I put saran wrap over the transmitter & closed the cover over it to add a seal & trimmed off the excess. My front door is in an alcove protecting it & there the adhesive is holding.
