Good fire source for laptop accessories

I've had it for about two months now. The mount doesn't fit well in my charging port, often detaches and falls out with the slightest movement. A few moments ago, the charging cable gave off sparks and caught fire. As soon as the heat broke the connection with the active current flow, the fire went out. I hate thinking that something flammable was nearby or I wasn't home when it happened.
