Pro: Very good sound, appealing, easy to program despite many features, great "nap time" function, time display can be dimmed from bright to off. Note: Even a very thin case (CaseCrown) must be removed to properly dock with the device. This model does NOT have Bluetooth, so the free app only works when the phone is connected to a clock radio. We basically agree with most of the comments: the iHome iDL45BC is a great clock radio for the iPhone 6 (although there doesn't seem to be much choice yet!). Clock backlight. By clicking the snooze bar, you can dim the light 6 times, from bright to off. This is a great feature! However, the time is displayed in white - even in fairly bright light, our 65-year-old eyes can't tell the time from about 12 feet away in a pitch-dark room. I wish it was green or blue as those colors seem more legible in low light. Also, the instructions don't state that the handy free app (which you can download) will NOT work remotely as the clock radio is NOT Bluetooth enabled (or has wireless capabilities). The app can ONLY be used on this model when the phone is connected to the radio. Admittedly, programming the device's functions via the app is a bit easier, but since you have to go through the hassle of setting the phone to the clock radio and then programming, let's jump straight to the device's buttons. In most cases, we only recommend the app if you have a Bluetooth model of this clock radio.
