I decided to start choosing a carpet that suits me. I have on hand: SS qck, SS qck limited, defender XXL and current carpet. Used the subject of discussion for a little over a month. I can say that the fabric gives a lower coefficient. friction than qck (with which they are very close in their qualities), which provides a smoother glide. Regarding the limited, carpet control, and coupled with a heavy mouse (g502 (hero)) and a low total sense (somewhere around 35 cm / 360 degrees) and a "high" dpi (1600) turned out to be problems with tracking (due to the fact that the mouse goes viscous) and the "failure" of the mouse (it is understood that the beginning of the movement required a relatively greater effort, which reduced the accuracy of micro-movements) + this carpet required constant cleaning, unlike the defender. This carpet was changed due to the fact that the "glide" surface is more suitable for me and 40 cm is not enough: sometimes with sharp flicks with the mouse, it still rested on the overlock. Regarding the overlock, it is worth noting that it did not interfere with the movement of the mouse, but rather signaled that the carpet was over. The surface of the carpet visually resembles the OEM, but, as I wrote above, it provides a smooth and easy glide without disruption.
