Top marks for tablet holder function, springs and how it holds/grips my iPad (even in a case) were perfect but that's where the good ends. The ball mount couldn't be tightened enough (not a tool anyway - so you risk breaking the plastic) to support the weight of the iPad in a horizontal plane, it just kept falling/tipped down then the tripod itself did all the critical softness plastic fittings (e.g. female threads for wing nuts on each section of the adjustable tube). By simply tightening part of the stand to support the weight of my tablet, I ripped off the female plastic base on the very first assembly and I didn't even start over tightening it, it was like two fingers! The likelihood that this could go on for very long without "user ingenuity" (aka MacGuyverisms) is ZERO, but why bother? It came right back. Not recommended at all.
