It's cute. It's elastic. My dog ate it twice. Took this to keep them from having an allergic reaction when chewing. She was motivated to chew *and* her middle name is literally Destruction, so I can't judge on that alone. The first one I bought due to its size was large. It fitted her whole body snugly and was too tight around her neck. She is a Pitti/Lab mix so she has a little more neck and chest than the lean breed. She chewed it overnight and I figured it was because it was uncomfortably tight. I didn't like the method of attaching it to the neck, front and back legs. I bought the XXL for the second time because I was planning to cut it down the middle and add a zipper. Because it was too tight and the fact that my sewing machine chews jersey worse than my dog, I wanted extra fabric. XXL was then also chewed. I found that it was because the fabric was stretching and getting caught under her back legs when she tried to stand up, then she got angry and ripped it off her legs. This was made worse by having legs that were too long. You can see in pic 4 that I tied it around her butt as it was stretched so she wouldn't choke. Using the existing reflective tape located on the abdomen and sides of the back helps act as a tape to prevent stretching. . The reflective tape stretches a bit, but it helps. I sewed the two remaining fronts together with a zipper at the back (which serves as a tension band). Sizing.TL;DR Skip if your dog has a thick neck or short legs and you don't want to make any changes. It would be great if the main product image didn't include a picture of a pit bull (known for its broad chest and shorter legs). Manufacturers could solve some problems by adding a strip of non-stretch reflective tape down the middle.
