Based on other reviews I knew it would be small so increased the size by 1. The racquet fit was perfect for my 4 month old baby. I folded the bottom an inch and it fit her head snugly without flexing. At night, when the outside temperature fell below 60 degrees, he kept her warm. She wore a hat under the hood of her jacket and in the tent at night. It washes well and is really soft. Cons: size. It's really not a baggy hat. I wasn't looking for it but if you are you will be disappointed.
