We have a bar and it's more important than ever to get ready for the new year. As soon as we received these corks, we opened several champagne bottles. We used one of our champagne corks, including this one, of course, for testing. About 15 minutes ago (one night on New Year's Eve B4!) we opened all the bottles and this cork sealed its bottle as best it could. our favorite champagne preservative, which costs about $80. All the others weren't as good as this one. So, yes, if you plan on storing an open bottle of champagne for a long time and want to preserve the best taste, texture and natural sparkle, GET IT!
