Lyfnlove 7 socket hub and charger charging. My Moto Z Force phone charged at the same rate as the special cable that came with the phone. Of course, 3.0 USP ports are backward compatible with 2.0. Last year I replaced my USB 2.0 port card on my desktop with 3 USB 3.0 ports and I really liked the speed. I connected Lyfnlove Hub to a new 3.0 jack and got 3.0 speed from the hub jacks. There was no drop in speed. The USB port card I used to upgrade had the connectors in a very awkward spot on the back of the desktop case. For this reason I almost never used them since they were not available. The 22" cable on the Lyfnlove hub gave me easy access to these 3.0 ports on the front of my desktop computer. Seeing the blue status bar move quickly across the screen during a copy operation was very satisfying for this nerd. Lyfnlove Hub claims to have a fast charging port. The battery settings screen confirms this. Notice the steep loading line at the right end of the chart. It fully charged from 35% to 100% in about two hours. The quick charge cable for my cell phone alone cost $35. The unique feature of this hub is 10 rubber suction cups. They really wanted to be securely attached to my Formica workbench, but the rough surface on the side of my workbench was more of a challenge. Suction cups are a good idea if you have a very smooth surface, but any surface roughness makes them less practical. They adhered very well to a smooth wooden surface painted with enamel paint. I mounted mine vertically to the front of my desktop computer, which is made out of perfectly smooth plastic. My hub is now more convenient, private and doesn't take up space on my desk. The Lyfnlove Hub is only 7 inches long, making it convenient for travel. If you are traveling with computer equipment, it is highly advisable to have these accessories on hand. Hubs with standard grounded outlets tend to be much heavier. Without advance planning, you may end up paying more for heavy items in your luggage. Newer computers have plenty of USB ports, but that's not enough when you start adding the many accessories available. Sooner or later you will need more ports. The Lyfnlove hub meets these needs with its speed, versatility, and portability. Reviewed by RS Harrison
