Nice thickness, warm, true fit ( I wear a girls 9 -10 and boys 8- 9) but not recommended for long periods of wear. They have some kind of spandex threading or something in them that after a few hours starts to slightly dig into your skin and cause severe pain, chaffing w/ rubbed raw spots, and heat spots. Wore them at Disney (a normal activity for me.with my normal sneakers.and I am not tender footed) but at the end of the day my feet were so raw and chaffed I was unable to wear shoes of any kind for a few days. My husband had the same issue and he has feet a Neanderthal would be jealous of. He had worn them to do some yard work in and only had them on a few hours. Do not buy if you need them for anything but a very quick one time wear or to have some to sleep in and keep your feet warm. Even washing them with ALOT of fabric softener doesn't help trust me I tried.
