After installation I got rid of chrome completely on my Tacoma. The smoked glass look perfectly matches the black lower mirror housing when switched off. When signaled or unlocked they have a wonderful sequential beam effect. They don't just turn on, they "streak" or "streak" with every blink. It looks very cool. I'm surprised at the quality for how cheap they are. I've seen more expensive turn signals that only turn on and off and have no light effect. Very glad I bought them.
