Poor function ruins product impression

As a vibrating fan, vibration should be what sets the product apart and this product doesn't. With other fans, if I need to slightly adjust the direction the fan is pointing, I press the pivot button on the remote. When the fan starts spinning in the opposite direction, pressing the pan button twice will activate the spinning of the fan. Going the other way, it's very easy to make small adjustments to the fan. This fan doesn't! On this fan, the pan button only cycles through 60, 90, 120, and 360 degree arcs, so pressing it twice will only cycle through the arcs. Even worse, the start of the arc seems to depend on when you pressed the button. So if you try to switch to 120 degrees, the fan has already started spinning, which means that by the time you get the setting you want, the fan is usually pointing in a different direction than what you want. This makes the remote controlled fan useless because once you've selected the arc of oscillation you want, you'll have to get up and grab the fan to rotate it so the arc covers the area you want. And since you have to stand up to grab the fan and point it in the right direction, and since all the buttons on the remote are also on the fan itself, the remote serves no purpose other than turning the fan on remotely. . And if you want to make a small adjustment to the fan layout, getting up and physically moving the fan is better than using the remote, since the oscillation selection options (both on the remote and on the fan itself) don't allow for small adjustments on the fan cowls. I am giving this product 1 start because I would not buy it again and would not recommend any friend to buy it. There is nothing wrong with the fan performance settings or the fan speed. The fact is that the fan oscillation function is so poorly designed that it does not allow convenient adjustment of the direction of rotation of the fans or the arc of oscillation, which is the main function of the oscillation fan.
