The cartridges installed easily and I received no warnings or notifications that delayed or interrupted my ability to print. Initially, the print quality was the same as using the original toner that came with my printer. After a few months (my printer is used in the home office) I noticed very noticeable streaks on the right edge, mostly on side A. Lighter streaks are sometimes printed on the back and also on side B. I've tried changing various settings and managed to do all maintenance work in place. Cleaning the locking knot seemed to give the most significant improvement; but only for a moment. It reappears after a few pages have printed. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the yellow cartridge was "leaky". I took out the cartridges, wiped off any "ink" I could see and put the cartridges back in. The yellow ones have once again caused chaos. I replaced the yellow cartridge and the print quality improved immediately. I have found that it is still necessary to run maintenance tasks after large print jobs or when I notice streaks on my print jobs. I had a lot of headaches and corrupted documents before I switched to yellow. A lot of the prints I had to finish for the Christmas presents were never made, but everything seems fine now. I can justify the extra steps and less than perfect prints compared to the money I save by buying a different brand of toner. If I had to print legal documents or needed better quality prints for a job, I probably wouldn't buy them again; but for my needs they work fine (now that the holey yellow has been abandoned).
