Review on 250FT Outdoor UV Rated 14AWG Professional Speaker Audio Cable - 14/2 Bulk Spool for Direct Burial (250FT, 14/2) by John Miller

Last year I used this cable to install a Sonnarray outdoor speaker system. We noticed issues with the speaker a few months after installation but got over it as it still sounded good and played loud. This weekend we booted up the system for the first time in months and only one of the nine speakers was playing. I started running a wire from speaker to speaker to see if I could find the problem. In 7 out of 9 loudspeakers the wire is rusted and completely torn off. I'm in Arizona and the wire is in a relatively dry environment. That it doesn't last a whole year tells you everything you need to know about quality. Most likely it's not OFC and maintaining it would be a nightmare. We tear everything out and start with the best wire!
