I recommend consumption only as a reward, not as a meal. Water is ridiculous because it's dry and cats must get all or most of their water from food. So it's not surprising that one of the other reviewers wrote about their cat with urinary problems... This is because they were dehydrated, which is fairly common. The quality of the ingredients seems excellent, they liked the taste, the idea is good, and I'm glad they didn't try to create something with glycerin, but one of my cards swallowed it without chewing, probably because they were hard even after soaking in water for several hours, which then softened to our dried consistency... She read the others a little and then threw up whole chunks. Again the ingredients are great and I would have preferred it if it was a freeze dried product with suggestions to add water. Then I would definitely buy it. With that in mind, the directions for using water or liquids with freeze dried products that I've found or are also problematic are low. Other brands offer a tablespoon or so and I've found it takes at least 2-3 times longer and soaks overnight or at least a couple of hours. And you always have to break them. It would be great to have these little pieces from this brand with these very high quality ingredients that are much higher quality than most dehydrated products. So be careful when feeding us as food and again I found that even after soaking in water overnight it still just took on a firm, dried up consistency and didn't retain or retain water in the sense that it like fresh meat was . I hope the company reads this and considers it.
