Good substitute for raw food outside the home

I feed my cats completely raw, they eat nothing but natural rabbit nuggets. But when I'm out of town my girlfriend doesn't have time to feed her 5 times a day lol. So when I'm not home, they eat Ziwi Peak lamb. They don't like it, but they eat when they're hungry. Poop is a bit smellier than raw food, but it's not soft or very smelly like dry food can cause. Most importantly, I weigh them when I come back and they don't gain or gain weight while eating. Expensive yes but I'm already spending…

Best cat food crap!

My cat LOVES this food! She was a lifesaver so she had some food issues when we picked her up. We tried all types of food but nothing seemed to fill her up or help her eat. She was always hungry and always wanted to eat more. I knew it was cat-friendly ingredients, so I did a little research and came across Ziwi Peaks. This is a food designed for cats with their feline needs in mind. We grind it into ninja for smaller pieces and mix it with some water. Our cat is not only satisfied but never…

New Zealand Cat Food

Paid good money for it and the cat didn't eat it at all! You don't have the opportunity to test the food as a sample before you buy the whole package! Now I stick with this food and the cat will neither eat nor benefit from this amazingly nutritious food! Very upset because l. Buy the best food that comes out! Healthy non-GMO food, no food spray here! Next time you'll need small sample packs so we can try them first! Our cats could see if it was tasty enough for them. I could better make the…

Causes bubble crystals in my cat

UPDATE 03/18/2018**- We no longer feed this food to our cat. Although she likes the taste, it has caused crystals in her bladder. After $1,000 in vet bills and diagnostics, we figured out the problem and are moving on. Unfortunately, while Ziwipeak and other brands claim that 98% of their ingredients are meat, that doesn't mean 98% of their food is meat. consists of meat or raw protein. Rather, the other 2% dominate the actual food composition. Their breakdown is about 33% of the crude protein.

I recommend consumption only as a reward, not as a meal

I recommend consumption only as a reward, not as a meal. Water is ridiculous because it's dry and cats must get all or most of their water from food. So it's not surprising that one of the other reviewers wrote about their cat with urinary problems... This is because they were dehydrated, which is fairly common. The quality of the ingredients seems excellent, they liked the taste, the idea is good, and I'm glad they didn't try to create something with glycerin, but one of my cards swallowed it…

ZIWIPEAK MAKES MY SICK AND WANTED CAT A HEALTHY AND HAPPY CAT!

I adopted my cat in 2014. Despite the fact that I kept her on an expensive grain-free diet, I quickly realized that she had serious health issues that hadn't been reported to me. The worst of these problems was an uncomfortable and chronic discharge from the anal glands, which made her absolutely miserable. She also had horrible dry, "hard" patches on her skin. Her fur always looked and felt dirty and she had terrible scales. After a year of routine and painful draining of her anal glands by…

Surprisingly liked our very picky cat!

YES we have a winner! Eventually our diabetic cat ate freeze dried raw food until I rehydrated it (life saving duck mortar patties) and then one day out of the blue he had hypotension and after that he suddenly became allergic to duck, every time his vomit. time, even after trying again a month later. I switched him back to dry pellets with 5% carbs (he doesn't eat enough canned food to add at least 180 calories a day so we eat pellets too despite being diabetic) and have since tried various…
