Type of review

My original prop came off of my Motorguide 756 (Brute 56) the other day. Never had that happen before so I ordered this one in hopes it would fit. It DOES indeed fit it! I haven't had the chance to use it yet, but I am for certain ordering another one!

Pros
  • It works awesome and it fit my Brute trolling motor perfectly
Cons
  • Can be noisy when in use

Motorguide prop for my opinion

I bought the prop for a spare just in case I needed it. It was almost half the price if I would have went to the marina to buy one. It was shipped in just a few days. I bought it "used" but it was still in the original package.

Pros
  • Fit my motor just fine and it is a great improvement from my smaller 2 blade propeller.
Cons
  • Requires regular maintenance to keep in good condition

Good looking prop on my review.

It is winter still, so wont get to test this for a while. The build is good and it appears strong. Hoping it to be more efficient than the weed less I am running now.

Pros
  • Love the extra speed and control it gave me. Handles wind alot better than it did before.
Cons
  • Prone to corrosion and rust over time

Gives reverse a much better grip for slowing and maneuvering

It fit my minnkota 40 lb. Gives reverse a much better grip for slowing and maneuvering. Had to modify at the hub to fit. Just Fyi. Very minor diy.

Pros
  • Great replacement , works great and easy to install .
Cons
  • May require special tools for installation

Got a spare weekend?

It fits and looks good with the motor. Now, I just wish I got to use it a little more often. Workends vs. getting your line wet leaves a lot to be desired, but I'll still find a way to sneak off for a little R&R on the water.

Pros
  • Just like they said it was
Cons
  • Can easily get tangled in weeds or debris

Great Prop - my new review

Prop seems to push my boat better than the two bladed prop it replaced. I have one on my trolling motor and another one as a spare.

Pros
  • These props do just what they say perfect fit.
Cons
  • May require more frequent battery replacements due to increased drag

No vibration on my review.

I purchased it to try to slow down my trolling motor. That didn't happen. What i found out was i have virtually no vibration. The most important part is my batteries last longer.

Pros
  • Fit easy and works great
Cons
  • May not provide enough thrust for larger boats

Machette III Is Perfect Propeller For Pontoon Boat Trolling

The MotorGuide Machette III propeller works nicely with the 70 pound thrust trolling motor on my pontoon boat. It is quiet so the boat can be moved easily and quietly into position using low speed settings. Some other propellers seem to cavitate and make more noise which can scare away any nearby fish.

Pros
  • A very well made product. A perfectreplacement for my damaged prop on trolling motor.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for trolling at higher speeds

vibrated badly: my feedback

when i installed it on my motor guide trolling motor, it vibrated very badly causing a lot of noise. sent it back for a refund

Pros
  • Well made and fits perfect
Cons
  • May not be as durable as other propellers

worked with a 30 year old motorguide

i have an old motorguide about 30 years old or longer. Havent used in 20 years. Recently , I have a use for it and broke the 4 fin prop. I saw this on amazon and bought it. BINGO! with slight modification (file) it fits and works as well or better than 4 blade prop. It is quite a bit bigger but no problems. Thank you.

Pros
  • Good prop for my Motorguide FW-71. Fit and performance are exceptional.
Cons
  • May cause the boat to tip in choppy waters

Not too many other options.

Authentic part. I don't have thick weeds to worry about so I use the 3 blade prop.Chips and dings on the blades make more noise underwater. Keep your new blade nice and smooth.

Pros
  • best price fast shipping
Cons
  • May not be suitable for all fishing conditions

It will fit an Endura 30….if you own a dremel

After the first install I could tell this was not going to work on my Minn Kota Endura 30. But I wasn’t going to waste my time trying to send it back, so I broke out the dremel. After about an hour of cutting and sanding the plastic, it fits and runs without rubbing. Water test pending, so I’ll bring a couple of paddles.

Pros
  • It fit
Cons
  • Heavy and difficult to maneuver

More torque out of your trolling motor

Went from a bi blade a Tri blade because I fish mostly river made a tremendous difference for upstream fishing Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • works well
Cons
  • May reduce overall boat speed

Make sure you know how to change them

It fits and seems to work well, but it's a little loose on my lower unit, no water gets in still and it does what it said it would do.

Pros
  • Simple install on my BassPro 55lb thrust electric trolling motor. Works great!
Cons
  • May cause more drag than other propellers, which can decrease battery life

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Can make steering the boat more difficult

Motoring down stream

Fit prefect gets me down stream. Lost nut second time now. They need to figure out better wat to attach to shaft That's my review.

Pros
  • Nice trolling motor propeller works well
Cons
  • It is not as durable as what I had and what I had was composite

The three blade machette prop had a noticeable difference in power and impressive weed cutting ability. Really enjoying the prop. every new motorguide comes with one now and for good reason.

Pros
  • Not completely weedless
Cons
  • Requires installation which can be time-consuming and difficult
