My projector showed a message saying it was time to replace my lamp so I ordered this. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. To my surprise, when I turned on the projector, I got the same message. Then I realized I needed to reset the lamp timer. Then the message disappeared. Apparently I didn't need to replace the lamp, just reset the lamp timer. Well I had a new lamp installed so I left it. Last night after about 6 weeks of use the light went out and I got an orange error light on. I restarted the projector. Same mistake. I removed and reinstalled the lamp. Turned on again, same error. I took an old lamp that I hadn't thrown away and lit it. Works well, the image is brighter and clearer than this lamp. Bottom Line: If you bought this item and it broke 2 weeks after the last return date, don't say I didn't tell you! Lamp arrived on March 3, 2020, failed on April 24, 2020
