Review on Xinglet Vest by Amphipod by Bryan Orozco

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm tall/tall and this is the perfect fit

Some reviewers complained about the tight fit and the bottom piping that only reached the bottom ribs. I took the risk and ordered the product anyway. I'm 6'1", weigh 190 pounds and buy my Levi's in 36x36. When the product arrived it looked like it would have the same super snug fit that others have complained about, but I soon noticed that the straps could be loosened for a much larger fit. I turned all settings to maximum and tried it on. It seemed like it was designed and designed just for me personally. This bottom tie falls down and rests against my leather belt and belt buckle, right where I prefer it. My guess is that if the potential buyer is a 250+ tall retired NFL player, the sizing will be a bit undersized for you. The product is designed for a person who looks like a typical runner or cyclist, not a former NFL player. I wear it at dawn every morning when I cycle about fifteen miles. The straps stay where they started and don't tend to move across my torso. I haven't noticed any awkward spots or chafing. I still wear light summer shirts but the straps seem loose enough that I find I have enough room to add a jacket in cooler weather. If you follow a very popular blog called Lovely Bicycle, the red-haired Irish woman who runs the blog shared a few months ago about an overnight bike ride from Boston to Maine. I noticed from their photos that this particular product was worn at night by the group for safety reasons. I think her photos really sold me. She is very choosy when it comes to using the right gear while cycling. This review is a whale

Pros
  • Stable in testing
Cons
  • Could have gone for a newer style
