I bought this mouse mainly because I was doing an RGB build using ASUS components and wanted something that could be synced. This turned out to be a big mistake as I had many compatibility issues with ASUS proprietary software. After buying a new motherboard I got RGB to sync, but the mouse itself is still pretty much useless to me at this point (more than 2 months after purchase). First, ASUS doesn't offer direct firmware updates that I can see. They need to install their armory software but unfortunately all my firmware and driver updates fail when I try to use them. So I'm stuck with very outdated firmware and drivers. Second, the mouse has some pretty serious button issues - both the right and left buttons get stuck (not physically, it seems to be a software issue) when you press both almost simultaneously. This happens so often that it's almost impossible to play with this "gaming" mouse. All in all, my relentless pursuit of RGB harmony led me to this mouse, which I deeply regret. I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone, no matter how much you want your RGB to sync with ASUS software.
