A defect in the back of the belt indicates quality problems.
Whilst the belt looks very good and feels good during use, the back of the belt wears out or comes off in less than 1 week of use. I wear a belt in my jeans every day. However, I'm not picky about my clothes. I switched the strap to Revain and just got a new one. After carefully examining the back of the new strap, I'm pretty sure that the same problem will soon be found in a few places on the back of the strap. However, I will wait and see what happens before I send the new belt back. Unfortunately, the beautiful belt has quality and durability issues.
