Product works great!

We put these up around all sliding glass doors and windows in our house and now when you open or close the front door it's almost as if the entire house was vacuum sealed as the change in air pressure causes the windows and such to move inwards/outwards, etc. ! We will be buying more of these for my mother's place soon! Definitely helps as bit with the power bill since the AC is now not bleeding cold air out of any poorly sealed windows and doors.

Pros
  • Can also be used to seal gaps around garage doors
Cons
  • May not be as effective on doors or windows with gaps larger than 1/4 inch

Good but use Gorilla tape to adhere the ends and middle.

I cleaned the area as instructed. However, after a week or so, the ends started to peel away. I had gorilla double-sided tape and used that to tape it down. Now, it works perfect.

Pros
  • Does not interfere with door or window operation
Cons
  • May become discolored over time

It sticks to the door well, but noise reduction? hm.

I still can hear very well, honestly, I am not sure if there was any difference before or after installing this. That's my review!

Pros
  • Improves indoor air quality by preventing dust and pollutants from entering through gaps
Cons
  • May not be as effective at blocking drafts in homes with central heating and cooling

Poor adhesion on my review.

I liked the product very much as far as blocking drafts through the crack in the door. But, it doesn't adhere to well. The surface is free from dirt or anything that would prevent it, but it still tends to peel off at the top. I'm reluctant to glue it on, so will have to keep trying to re-stick it.

Pros
  • Can be used to seal gaps around pipes and vents
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on doors or windows near a swimming pool or other water source

Perfect solution to an annoying problem

Last year we installed a pet door in our sliding patio door going onto our 3-season room from our family room for the winter. It was a great solution to the "let the dog in, let the dog out" issue in the winter, as we could leave the outside door ajar and still have an insulated way for the dog to get outside by going through the 3-season room. The only problem was that (due to our house not having ANYTHING quite square and plumb), the pet door didn't perfectly align with the sliding patio door.

Pros
  • Easily removed for cleaning or replacement
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on doors or windows with excessive moisture or condensation

So far very good - my new review

Do not know how long it will last for how I am using it, I have a barn door on my shed that had no weather stripping. I was in need for something that would flex yet keep out the rain on the top and two sides. So far fits well, has good flex keeping a seal on outside to door and went on without a problem. If it holds up I will be very happy.

Pros
  • Like the durability of the adhesion, easy to install. On doors.
Cons
  • May not be as effective on larger doors or windows

Great for patio doors

Worked great on patio doors…being silicone, it should stay flexible for quite a while and keep a seal….3M is usually good for adhesion, but I just put it on aluminum and we’ll see how it lasts through a cold damp winter….I’m hopeful, but if not, then 4 stars from 5, and I’ll silicone it to the aluminum…👍🏻

Pros
  • Can be reused if removed carefully
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in homes with children or pets due to potential choking hazards

Doesn't stick good

Doesn't stick to bottom of wood interior door, ended up nailing it in place, tried it on front steel door of house-it wouldn't stay on during cold months, if you live in warm climate it will proubly work

Pros
  • ✶Great Quality Door Bottom And Window Seal-- suitable for household. DOOR THRESHOLD,Excellent flexibility, can be used in extreme weather and won't broken.(WEATHER STRIP DOOR SWEEP)
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in high-traffic areas

It's easy to cut another strip if I'd ordered more

The packet came with no instructions although "duh" it really just required cutting to the appropriate length, peeling the protective strip and applying to the INSIDE of the door. So far, the patio door has held up really well after a few weeks. The firewall door to the garage has peeled off a bit at the very top, but that could be caused by less than prepared surface. It's easy to cut another strip if I'd ordered more. I'd definitely buy more more other drafty areas. It is virtually…

Pros
  • A cost-effective solution for improving energy efficiency in the home or office
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in homes with high levels of sunlight or UV exposure

Doesnt last to long

this looks great when you put it up , put it on my front door ,but it fell off in no time. If it's stayed. On it would be good but as of now, I have to replace it.So waste off money for me

Pros
  • It is a good product but it would be better than if it is stick more strong
Cons
  • Keeps coming off won’t stick I had to tape it up

This worked well for what we needed.

This worked well for our indented use. but in less than 24 hours it was falling off of the surface we stuck it on. We just put it on a wall. It wasn't heavily textured or painted with anything weird. Super disappointing.

Pros
  • So far so good.... stopped the draft!! Easy to install... functional product!!
Cons
  • May block natural light from entering the room

Best product! - my new review

I had a real big problem, that is, air leak through the patio doors. The sliding doors were made of wood and after few years use, I noticed a gap between the doors. In the past, I used regular tape to cover the gap which was a total disaster since air will still leak through and after pulling the tape after the winter, lot of times paint pry out along with the tape. I searched through Revain and found this seal strip, it blend in great and with 3M tape, works beyond my expectation! No air leak…

Pros
  • Provides a tight seal that keeps out moisture and dust
Cons
  • May not be effective at blocking odors from entering the room

Easy to use.: my feedback

Used on the front door which has a bit of a gap on bottom and side of door. Seems to be working for the most part. That's my review!

Pros
  • Reduces wear and tear on heating and cooling systems
Cons
  • The strip may not be flexible enough to conform to the curvature of the door or window

Sticks Well to multiple surfaces

Used this edge stripping on a wood door, a composite door and a metal sliding door that gets very cold. The stripping stuck well and had held for several weeks of opening and closing. It drags over my indoor welcome mat and is flexible enough and glued well enough. It is a superb draft guard.

Pros
  • ‎1
Cons
  • The strip may not be wide enough to provide a complete seal

Worked great! good for me

I purchased this to use under my shower door as a barrier to keep the water in. I purchased different ones at Home Depot that just didn't work with my shower door. This worked great because i was able to stick it on and then screw the metal plate over it to keep it locked in place. I am sure it can be used for multiple purposes, but for the purpose of keeping the water from splashing out of the shower it does a great job.

Pros
  • ✶Door Air Stopper-- Strong adhesive backing, water and non-deguming, stick firmly.Easy installation. Easy to cut to different sizes.
Cons
  • The adhesive may leave a residue if removed

Great product. good for me

Instantly felt the draft stop. Now had a issue placing the insulated side but only because I cut off the clear flap. Once I placed it using the flap I got more ability to get in the window creases. Then I cut it off duh.Even put on door and draft be gone lol

Pros
  • Provides a quick and easy fix for drafty areas
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on doors or windows with uneven surfaces

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Worked exactly as I needed it to work.

This worked great.I was able to stop the air "whistle” between my sliding door and sealed glass door. Saved me from paying to have the door removed

Pros
  • It sticks great and I don’t have to worry about the heat coming through.
Cons
  • The seal may not be strong enough to prevent airflow

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does the trick! for my opinion

I bought this to place around my sliding door when the cat door is in, it does the trick, keeps out hot and cold air just as I hoped for, only down side is that the silicone drags on the sliding window and makes it harder to open and close.

Pros
  • It worked great
Cons
  • The color may not match the surrounding decor

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not likely a 3M product - no proof on tape

Received a silicone roll had a gray print with the "3" of 3M cut off, unlike the CloudBuyer photos. This product could just as well be a "WB" instead of an "M". Looking for CloudBuyer answer and reimbursement before sending to a patent infringement office.

Pros
  • Can be cut to size to fit any specific area
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in homes with active fireplaces or stoves

The Prefect Solution

We installed a pet door that left a gap between glass sliding doors. The weather strip that came with the door failed miserably and left a mess. This product worked perfectly. It was easy to install, has stayed attached to the door and seals the gap. Thanks for the quality product which was the ideal solution for our need!

Pros
  • Can be used in the home or office
Cons
  • May not be effective at blocking insects or small pests from entering the room
