Great so far! for my opinion

I was super hesitant about these but so far I am loving them!I’ve made a list of pros and cons:Pros:1. Easy to use & adhere2. You get a TON in the pack3. Grip seems to be fine4. Not a terrible amount of messCons:1. Although they adhered pretty easily, it does require particular weather to do so, but pretty much common sense. If it’s ridiculously cold outside or JUST rained, they are not going to adhere.2. They are pretty small in length. They work because obviously you won’t be stepping on the…

Pros
  • Easy to install. Excellent non-slip surface. Long termadhesion,,,to be determined.
Cons
  • Requires a clean surface for optimal adhesion

Stopped outside step accidents!

We have wooden steps that are on the north side of the building and more than once someone has slipped and hurt themselves when they become slippery. Once, enough to go to the ER! I have had these adhered to my steps now for almost a year and no more slippage! Easy to install, they have held firm and offered traction for both people and dogs. I cleaned the area before applying. The steps are uncovered and open to the elements in NC experiencing rain and some snow. I am a believer!

Pros
  • Easy to apply and they stick great
Cons
  • May not be aesthetically pleasing

Def read instructions

I bought these for our basement steps because I go downstairs to do laundry and the paint coating them is dangerously slippery—especially around winter when I'm wearing socks all the time.Overall, it has been a night and day difference. My steps are MUCH more secure and I don't feel like I'm gonna bust my @$$ going down then.Be sure to clean your steps and mark where your going to put them down, bc these guys aren't coming up easy when you install them.Pro tip: Definitely pay attention to the…

Pros
  • Feel much safer going down my stairs in the winter now
Cons
  • Easy to apply should last a season. Look good, could be a bit wider.

Well worth every penny!

Bought 2 boxes for our wooden deck steps and my sister's deck steps. The deck steps ice over and get frost covered, and become very slippery. In the past, we always purchased several rolls of the 2 inch anti-skid tape from our local Lowes. We would have to put 2 or 3 strips onto each step to get good coverage of each step. Thinking there's got to be an easier way, I went to Ebay and searched.and found these 6" x 30" peel and stick strips! I ordered them and they arrived in 2 days. We read the…

Pros
  • well made, remains well adhered even in extreme hear and rain!
Cons
  • Can be slippery when wet

Nice an thick, easy to install

These were more substantial than I thought they would be - very nice. Easy to apply. When you initially apply them, they are a little forgiving, so you have an opportunity to adjust them, if you have only lightly applied a corner or two. I found it best to make pencil marks where you intend to apply them, so that you can adjust before you completely lay them down. It was close to 50F when I applied them, so after they were down, I used a heat gun to heat them slightly and them firmly apply…

Pros
  • They look nice on the steps, and keep us from slipping
Cons
  • Costly compared to other non-slip options

Quarantine basement step make over with these fabulous strips

Used on my basement steps for a quarantine basement step make over and I am shocked at how awesome they are. The adhesion is excellent and they provide a solid anti slip surface. I had 2 extra and was thrilled to put the on my 2 garage steps.for the win! Seriously though, this was a long over due task as my boys have both slipped on the steps that were only painted. Extremely easy to install and comes with a small roller to ensure adhesion.

Pros
  • When rained came off
Cons
  • Not suitable for curved or spiral staircases

Easy to use, heat will impact adhesion

This product was very easy to apply. Decent value for the price. My complaint is that after about two months, the adhesion is giving on the steps in direct sunlight for much of the day, leaving the stickers peeling along the edges. Of note, the months include May - July in the mountains of North Carolina where our high temps tend to reach the upper 80s F and often low 90s. The adhesion on the steps that only receive morning sun seems to be holding up better.

Pros
  • Very easy to cut and fit to outdoor deck stairs, great grip and super for my needs!
Cons
  • May not be suitable for extreme weather conditions

Dont waste your money

They are easy to apply, thats it. They cant handle rain, they start to peel. The become brittle and crack and come off in great big chunks in winter weather. So the 2 most important reasons i bought them, they failed.abysmally. I cleaned my wooden steps with deck cleaner and dried them 2 days in the sun prior. I made everyone use the other door. I dusted them off in case they got something on them in the 2 days. Now im going to have to get the gritty tread paint.

Pros
  • These treads do not adhere well. They slip and slide and come loose as soon as the sun hits them.
Cons
  • Can be challenging to clean

Provides safe and secure footing!

I had been wanting to install some type of non-slip treading on our wooden stairs leading to our basement, but had not been able to find the right size that would provide the safety and secure footing we were in need of. Then, I found these from Finehous. The pre-cut 6"x30" size is perfect for our needs, and is very easy to install. The pre-fit allows each piece to be installed without having to measure and cut, and installation is simple. When you are ready to install the non-slip tread, you…

Pros
  • Building Materials
Cons
  • May not adhere properly to oil or grease-stained surfaces

Adhesion was not great on wooden stairs.

Hoped for better adhesion on my wooden stairs. One blew off in winds gusting to 30 mph. Reflective strip is a joke. It’s not even slightly reflective. More like a strip of yellow paint.Provides nice traction.

Pros
  • Good quality; easy to use.
Cons
  • May not adhere properly to rough or textured surfaces

Really fits the bill for non slip needs

For outside steps coming into the house these were great. Especially living in a snowy area with slippery boots Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Enhances the overall safety and security of your outdoor space.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for stairs with grouted tiles

should have bought the good ones

Bought these thinking they would be sufficient. Installed them in August after stripping and repainting porch. It is now a week before Christmas. We've had two snow falls. They're already scuffing up and tearing. That's what I get for taking the cheap route. these were much less expensive then the original ones I had on there which were probably two or two and a half times as thick as these. the good ones cost about double. But now I'm going to have to pay that plus the money I spent on these…

Pros
  • Easy to install and remove without damaging the underlying surface.
Cons
  • May not adhere properly in extremely cold temperatures

Easy install for my opinion

A very easy install. Used for outdoor wooded stairs leading to a deck. Clean surface well, measure to center of flat step. Peel and stick!

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • Can be difficult to cut to size

Really works in my review

Put this on my wooden ramp leading up to my front porch 5 months ago and still looks great even through the mid west winter That's my feedback!

Pros
  • Suitable for all weather conditions with a UV-resistant and waterproof design.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for stairs with glass treads

These are surprisingly great!

I recently put a fresh coat of solid stain on our old deck. I didn’t realize how slippery the stairs now were when wet until I slipped & bounced down the last two. After reading reviews decided to give these a try. Following instructions they were very easy to apply & after a month, I see no lifting or peeling. Hint to measure & mark where you want them placed as they are not easy to adjust once stuck down. The "sandpaper” grit is super strong. It will take the dead skin right off the bottom of

Pros
  • Can be used for both commercial and residential outdoor staircases.
Cons
  • May not adhere properly to stairs with polyurethane coatings

These are impeccable.

I have a side gig as an announcer. The steps that I use to get up an down are somewhat worn now but painted otherwise. I was looking for something I could put down so I wouldn't slip as I am disabled and have more of a slip and fall risk. These strips are a beast and have taken some punishment for about 2 years now. They are starting to wear down a little but they still have some ways to go. I don't know anything about trying to pull the old ones off if I need to replace them as an FYI. If I…

Pros
  • Extremely easy to maintain with minimal upkeep required.
Cons
  • Can be difficult to cut evenly

They do the job. best in my review

Using on our slippery basement stairs. They were a cinch to install and work very well. Would recommend to anyone. Limited color options!

  • Adhered well and easy to install. Made the steps much safer.
Cons
  • Limited color options

Happy with purchase

We are using them for steep indoor basement stairs that led to the backdoor. It has been about two months and they're still doing the job. Do not stretch when installing.

Pros
  • I put these on when temp was 50. probably would adhere better if applied when tempo was 70's
Cons
  • Not suitable for indoor use

Just What I needed.

During the winter, the porch steps made of concrete would get extremely slippery. I slipped a few times, and I decided to do something to alleviate this problem. I installed them today, without any issue. Except, removing the paper was a bit tiresome. Maybe, the manufacturer can add a paper lip, this way its easier to peel off without wasting too much time. But, so far I think it will work, I have to wait till winter to truly evaluate how effective it is. One more thing, are there bigger sizes…

Pros
  • Non-slip strips are made from environmentally friendly materials.
Cons
  • May not hold up well under heavy snowfall

The treads stick easy and looks good.

The Montana winter of ice and snow will determine how effective a non-slip tread it really is. If someone requests an update, I'll let you know in the spring of 2023.

Pros
  • Provides a non-slip surface that is also comfortable to walk on for added convenience
Cons
  • May not be suitable for stairs with pavers or cobblestones
