I bought these for our basement steps because I go downstairs to do laundry and the paint coating them is dangerously slippery—especially around winter when I'm wearing socks all the time.Overall, it has been a night and day difference. My steps are MUCH more secure and I don't feel like I'm gonna bust my @$$ going down then.Be sure to clean your steps and mark where your going to put them down, bc these guys aren't coming up easy when you install them.Pro tip: Definitely pay attention to the weather/temp when you install. I cut it really close to the recommended lowest temperature, so some of the adhesion on the steps is, understandably not the best. Despite this bubble, none of them have curled or moved so I'm still very happy. I have 3 left over, so if/when it even wears out, I'll replace it. I'd still very much recommend this product.
