    Multi-angle jig for multiple uses

We got this all metal jig for drilling pocket holes and angled cuts. It came with the appropriate sized drill bits for the corresponding hole sizes, too.We already had the competitor Kreg jig, but it only does one angle and is mostly plastic. This Neitra 30 45 90 jig aids in cutting 2 different angles (30 and 45) plus 90 degrees (perpendicular to the drilled surface).1-Get a clamp wide enough to hold both the jig and the item to be drilled to hold it steady. Also get a pencil or Sharpie to mark

    Pros
    • The jig is backed by a limited warranty from the manufacturer
    Cons
    • The drill guide may produce a lot of noise during use

    Pretty cool for my opinion

This is my first angle jig is a pretty cool addition to my tools. The jig makes creating angled attachment easier. I used it to create angled holes in my new horizontal stair railing. I'm using 3/4 inch rods so the holes made with the jig aren't quite big enough but I was able to make the initial angled holes then go back and re-drill with a larger bit paddle.

    Pros
    • The jig is compact and easy to store, even in smaller workshops or garages
    Cons
    • May be difficult to clasp onto posts of varying thickness

Will try this out on a step-down deck

I'm looking forward to using this angled guide jig on a multi-level deck I will be starting very soon, hopefully. My builders have already put in regular cable railings, and angled cables to accommodate a change in height will be a new challenge, that this jig will help with. I'll be looking to see if we can use shims as well to get intermediate levels between 30, 45 and 90 degrees.Review of Neitra 30 45 90 Angled Drill Guide Jig for Cable Railing Lag Screw Kit Wood Post, Drilling Degree Angle

Chunk Of Iron That Does What It Says

When this product arrived and I lifted the box I was immediately surprised at the weight. You can see the size of the base in the pics, and by itself, with no bits inserted, it weighed a pound. The holes are accurately sized and the included bits make precision angle drilling a breeze. The lettering on the unit appears durable enough to last a while, and this is a straightforward tool that belongs in any workshop that requires accurate angled holes of any kind. There isn't anything I can find as…

    Pros
    • The bits are made from high-quality materials for maximum efficiency and durability
    Cons
    • May not have enough drill depth for some applications

Very handy! best in my review

I build furniture in my spare time, so I'm always using the other "K" jig, but I really like that this one allows for different drill bit sizes at different angles. The other one I have is a single size and there have been times I wanted a smaller drilled hole, especially for corner angles, and didn't have something like this. This will definitely come in handy and it's super solid and durable. I do wish it came with some sort of built-in clamp because my regular squeeze clamps sometimes are…

    Pros
    • I like the 45 angle I used it I on aluminum.
    Cons
    • Used a few times and it works, see how long term use is

    Great value for my opinion

When purchasing these, I first thought of how these would fair against a Kreg Jig. While you can use these in the same capacity, the limitation would be that it needs to be used with a clamp to hold down the Neitra before drilling, whereas some Kregs come with a clamp. Regardless, the advertised application is drilling through metal, which also serves to do very well. As long as you have a vise, clamp, or another similar method of keeping the Neitra stationary, it works very well. Overall great

    Pros
    • Great seller and an outstanding product. Very happy with the easy use.
    Cons
    • Expensive compared to other drill guides in the market

Works well for doing larger joints

Nice solid piece of equipment! It is on the larger size and has worked well for doing decks and that sort of stuff. I kinda wish it came with a depth stopper, but good ole tape still works. So far it has with stood a few decks and a couple of fences and feels like it should last a while. I haven’t used any of the provided drill bits, just because I’m picky, so i can not give a honest review on the bits.Overall I enjoyed using this on a few projects and look forward to using next season.

    Pretty Serious Drill Guide

I have been using a plastic Milescraft 1312 DrillBlock for quite some time, and although it has served me well, I could not resist what looked to be a serious upgrade for my toolbox. It was actually a little more serious than I anticipated as I did not expect this drill guide to be quite this heavy-duty and substantial, but I think I will be just fine with this ultra-durable beast of a block. I didn't notice that the drill bits were included when I ordered this block, so that was a nice little…

    Pros

    Extremely well made

First of all I have to say that the "Neitra Angled Drill Guide Jig” is well built, no plastic in it at all. It feels solid in your hand and should last a lifetime. At just over a pound, it’s also quite heavy for its size.As a woodworker and DIYer I always like to check the accuracy of my tools. For this drill jig I clamped it to the edge of a piece of maple and drilled through and then I used a handsaw to get access to the newly drilled angled holes. As you can see from the photos, the 30 and…

Makes aligning cable railing holes easier

Installed cable railing on my two flights stairs (and landing) this weekend - this tool made the job of aligning and spacing all the holes in my PVC clad posts much easier and less error prone. Since putting in the cables is one of the last tasks of the stairs, any errors will either be costly to fix (replace post/cladding) or would be easily visible. I considered this a small cost to ensure the job was done right. Just measure up from the treads every 3.5" (code is 4" with deflection here in…

    Pros
    • With four bits included, it offers great value for money
    Cons
    • May not work well with lag screws of different sizes

Easy drill angles plus thick steel!

This thing is a life saver for me! Trying to drill sideways holes and angle holes freehand for me is a killer! I’ve messed up so many of my projects but now I won’t!This is so easy to use, fits on the wood perfectly and stays put as long as you don’t jerk your hand lol you have to use your weight to counter the movement of the drilling process. Works great!Thick steel and well made/forged! The drill holes are perfect sizes with a little wiggle room, in other words the holes are not a tight fit…

    Pros
    • The jig is a must-have tool for anyone who wants to achieve professional-looking results
    Cons
    • The product may not be usable in areas with limited space

    Handly little drilling jig

Use this jig for drilling cable railings on the deck I just built. Works pretty great & had no issues with wiggle. Also really helps for the stair railings when you need a 30 or 45 degree hole. My only complaint is that the clamping area is not very big. They show a much smaller clamp on the picture, but a standard clamp makes it a bit tight to drill and clamp (depending on which holes you need). One could argue that you just clamp it farthest away from the hole you're using, but it does wiggle

    Pros
    • The jig is designed to be used with minimal force and effort
    Cons
    • May not work well for left-handed individuals

Finally, I have straight mounts for my screws!

Until this kit I struggled to get the perfect angle for setting a recessed screw. Since using this unit that is a thing of the past! It comes with a variety of bits and works on both flat and 90-degree angles. Hiding screws is now super easy and my construction projects feel much more secure. Highly recommended!

    Pros
    • FOUR SIZES GUIDE HOLES WITH BITS: With four sizes of drilling guide holes for each angle, this cable railing drill jig offers four sizes of drilling bits, 3/8"(9.52mm), 5/16"(7.93mm), 1/4"(6.35) mm), 3/16"(4.76mm), each compatible with most cable railing cable protector sleeves and lag screws. An efficient and compact angled drill guide that is easy to carry.
    Cons
    • May be difficult to align angle holes perfectly

So far I have only used this to drill holes into pipe straight in. It works great since it sets on the pipe. I haven’t yet needed to use the angle guides. But I’m sure it will work great as this is a very well made device. I can’t think of a single negative for this and heartily recommend it. NOTE: Although the description indicated that 4 drilling bits were included, matching the hole guide, lengths are 3.3"(84mm), 3.9"(99mm), 4.57"(116mm), 4.96"(126mm), I did not receive any. That is the only

    Excellent, well made product

This is not the cheapest drill guide on amazon, but it is the best made that I've seen. I ordered a couple of different ones from different vendors, and this is by far the best craftsmanship. And while one of the second place runner up was cheaper, and probably would have been just fine, I decided to keep this one because their customer service rep contacted me after delivery to make sure the item arrived without incident. Personally I thought it was worth the extra $15 to reward them for…

    Rock Solid and Accurate

I do a lot of work around the house and this is something that I needed. When you take it out of the box, you can feel that it's solid and well-built. The hole sizes are sufficient for any job that I would typically be using this for. I checked the accuracy of the angle and it's right on. The steel sleeves haven't worn at all yet. When I first used it, I would typically hold it in place, but now I use C-clamps whenever the dimensions allow. It would be useful to have slightly different surface…

    Super heavy duty: my feedback

The angles are dead on precise, and the tool feels incredibly heavy duty. I mean, it's pretty heavy - feels more like cast iron than aluminum. It actually got it mostly because of the groove to drill dead center on round stock (pipes), but have already reached for it to free hand drill where I always would just eye-ball it in the past. Like having it in the tool box.

    Pros
    • The drilling angle guide ensures accurate and consistent drilling every time
    Cons
    • The drill guide may not be precise enough for professional use

Easier than guessing if I have the angle right

I bought this for when I need to drill at an angle to stack boards,I always manage to get it wrong and split the wood or have the screw come out where I don't want it. this should help with that.

A Guide for Drilling with Added Accuracy

This drill guide is a great tool to have on hand for any kind of drilling and not just stair rails. There are times in general woodworking where you can get away with estimating your 90° and 45° pilot holes but this handy little block ensures that you get a more accurate hole without much extra hassle. Although it is best to clamp it down, I found that just steadying it with my hand while drilling was fine for most 90° holes, especially on the smaller drill sizes. The 30° and 45° guides are…
