After my husband and my son slipping down the stairs I had to get them. This is the first time I have had treads, I liked the color doesnt show dirt. Was easy to install only had an issue with one of the mats adhesive so we used carpet tape, all the rest were good, looks realy good. A few weeks in and still looks good so this should work way cheaper than a carpet

Love the look, design, and feel under my feet. Had to order double sided carpet tape because some (3-5 strips) of the adhesive does nothing, one actually slipped out from underneath of me this morning. A few of the pieces have a small amount of fraying. I’m slightly worried about how they’ll last over time but for now they do the job and they look good.

I bought these items as they were the right size and included tape to install. What I received was mismatched and difficult to install. I did receive 4 stair treads, however they were not all the same size, they were close but two were larger than the other two when stacked. Love the treads I put them on newly painted stairs and had to adjust one as I was putting it down with no problem, tape paper peeled off easily (tip - bend the very corner then use small twizzer pull paper from tape and it will come off easily) it took me 15 minutes to put down 13 treads. My husband did have a little bit of a hard time peeling the tape off the adhesive strips but was able to do it. I was very worried how it would adhere to freshly painted steps so we did put some staples in them also. They look beautiful and was very surprised at just how much they changed the appearance and dressed up our steps going into our basement.

I bought these and paid a little more because they already had the double sided tape on back. That tape will not work. First of all it took me 30 minutes to pull off the top side of the tape on one piece of carpet. It will not separate easily. Then I tried placing it down and it did not stick well. Since we are dealing with steps I cannot take a chance of someone slipping if the carpet tread moves. I just had to order double sided tape to replace this. That was another $20. The stair treads…

Pattern is super cute and exactly what I was wanting. However the quality is meh. The adhesive strips have no problem sticking to your hands when you remove the backing but do not stick for more than a day or two to my wood stair treads. I made sure to clean and dry my stairs prior to application as well. I had to buy more adhesive tape to ensure they stayed in place. The pieces are also different sizes and uneven. Overall disappointed with the quality.

Good news: the carpets stick well to the stairs and did not slip around.Bad news: after two years of having these on our stairs we had to remove them because we are moving. We have spent HOURS trying to remove the sticky backing from the steps! It does not come off easily at all. Two rounds of Goo Gone, a scraper tool, and the a deep wash of the steps with Dawn Dish soap and there is still a residue! Be prepared for a lot of work whenever you decide to remove these carpets.

These treads have made a huge difference in both comfort under foot and noise reduction. My only complaint is that they vary in width up to a full inch or more. I used a template and lined them up perfectly on the right side of the staircase, but looking at the stairs from the left side, they are all different in distance from the edge, which looks haphazard.

Really cute and quality for the price. The only negative thing is some pieces have a slight color variation. You can see from the second picture the yellow is not as vibrant, but not bad enough for me to return (my family wouldn't notice the difference anyway!) . I must say, very poor quality.adhesive is very light and difficult to work with, one piece didn't even have adhesive, and most of the pieces have a burn mark of varying degrees on one corner.maybe where machine seals it, I don't know. Also, random threads hanging out that will certainly get snagged and destroy them. Would have sent them back but needed them more for safety, with new vinyl stairs my dogs could not grip, I needed these pieces. Had hoped they would be good quality as well but no.

I absolutely love the colors and design. The carpet texture itself is not as expected. The picture showed more of a thicker loop and the carpet is more of a fuzzy texture. Definitely a good quality for the price. There is double sided tape already on the back of the carpets. I have not put them on the steps yet. I am going to try and buy a thick Velcro so I can remove them to wash.

I like the way it looks and how it feels. Quality of carpet itself seems decent. It looks good on my staircase. However.these stair treads do not stick to my staircase! Not even a day after it’s installed, half of the treads are loose and slip right off the steps!The adhesive tape come with this carpet is not nearly strong enough to hold the carpet on the hardwood steps. After reading a lot of the reviews you have to press the adhesive tape to the rug harder so you can remove the cover film to stick the rug. My fiance and I love the rugs! They feel very soft and they make our foyer look great! Definitely a must buy!

We have a old house with narrow stair treads. These works great and the stairs are no longer a slip hazard. We have had these on for about 6 months and so far are wearing really well!

I wish I could say they look like the pictures but they don’t. You will pay an additional $40 for real rug grippers which work. Now that they’re in place like ok. Also add the costs of scotchgard. Ended up running me 2x the price on here.

Reasonably priced carpet. I added extra adhesive tape on the back of each stair. I only had 11 stairs so it's nice having the two extra just in case.

The adhesive was stuck to the paper and came off of the rug as I was trying to apply it. They are not exact rectangles and are warped around the edges. There was pulling of some of the strings upon arrival. The fabric is soft to walk on.
