I bought these and paid a little more because they already had the double sided tape on back. That tape will not work. First of all it took me 30 minutes to pull off the top side of the tape on one piece of carpet. It will not separate easily. Then I tried placing it down and it did not stick well. Since we are dealing with steps I cannot take a chance of someone slipping if the carpet tread moves. I just had to order double sided tape to replace this. That was another $20. The stair treads look good but the tape is not good. Adhesion: Doesn't stick good, Easy to install: Not easy to install because it's too hard to pull tape apart, Value: cost a bit more since they already put tape on. Other than that, the stair treads look good and seem like good quality.
