I needed some stair treads fast, as my dog starting slipping and on the stairs and after a couple times of tumbling down the last two steps she refused to go up or down them. I looked at several options on Ebay and decided to go with these because they had a nicer look to them then the cheapest line, but were still affordable and they also had the tape already on the back.These are my overall thoughts:1. I definitely would not say they are thick rug quality like advertised - Average at best. And after using them on the main stairs for 2 months now there is no cushion (not that there was much to start)2. I felt the quality looked really great in the photos but many of the treads are cut a little off square, and when installing them we went through to find the best corners to face out before laying them down.I did wipe the stairs clean with a damp cloth before installing and the adhesive tape seems to be holding them in place well. There were two tape strips on each tread. I've only had to re-adjust one tread since installing. So while I don't think these are the greatest stair treads out there, the quality seems to match the price point - not the cheapest/not the best.
