My husband did have a little bit of a hard time peeling the tape off the adhesive strips but was able to do it.
I was very worried how it would adhere to freshly painted steps so we did put some staples in them also. They look beautiful and was very surprised at just how much they changed the appearance and dressed up our steps going into our basement.
