Review on U32 Shadow 1TB External SSD USB-C Portable Solid State Drive (USB 3 by Gallo Carone

I bought the 2TB version of this drive to use Copy Cloner to create a bootable backup for my Late 2012 iMac. It's one of the recommended drives on the CCC website, so I took a chance and bought it. My old drive was a traditional hard drive that was slow to backup and very slow to boot. As expected, this SSD is fast. I only use a standard USB 3.0 port as my iMac doesn't have USB-C ports. It's only slightly slower to boot than my internal Fusion drive, amazing! Backups are also much faster. The drive doesn't get hot either. Highly recommended!
