I bought this bluetooth keyboard for a very specific purpose and it was extremely successful and really exceeded all expectations. To be able to watch Netflix movies in both the original language and in English with subtitles, I use the Chrome extension "Language Learning with Netflix". However, since this extension currently only works with Chrome, and if Chrome is running on a real computer, it means that I have to use the HDMI output from the computer to the TV monitor. The advantage of the system, however, is the ability to fast forward, rewind, pause, etc., which is controlled using the up, down, left, and right arrow keys on the computer keyboard. Well, anything can be done with great ease from a comfortable viewing distance with this relatively inexpensive remote keyboard that includes 4 arrow keys. And because the remote control is so light, it's easy to keep it in your hand at all times. The arrow keys are very easy to find by touch, so you never have to take your eyes off the screen. The device connected to my MacBook Pro laptop very easily. I use a switch to turn it off after use to save battery (in theory, although I haven't had to change the battery yet despite many hours of use). And then when I turn it back on, it connects to the computer almost instantly without me having to fiddle around. As a bonus, the number keys themselves have additional utility when using this system as they can be used to slow down or speed up the playback speed. A highly recommended product.
