Review on 30 Amp EPEVER MPPT Solar Charge Controller - 12V 24V Auto, High Input Voltage, Negative Grounded Solar Regulator for Lead-Acid and Lithium Battery Charging/Discharging by Lucas Rowe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

would buy again the best in solar and wind energy

Has been working fine for over a year. featuring a 50-watt S panel versus a fixed 37* and a 90Ah lead-acid battery that powers three 7-watt LED headlights 6 hours a day and draws 1.7 amps. My Central IL 12v solar experiment for outdoor lighting. Attention is required only in December and January, when there are several cloudy days in a row or the panel is covered with snow for a couple of 3 days. If it happens. I connect a 2 amp charger to the battery to keep it from draining the battery below 50%. The sun returns. plate is clean. In winter, it will be almost fully charged in one day. I recommend a 100 watt panel and 180 amp batteries to get through a cloudy winter with minimal, if any, charging. Add a light or clock in the summer and you have plenty of extra energy to play with. Get an inverter and hook it up to free electricity.
