I just received this and am very happy with my purchase so far. When you plug it in for the first time, you have to press and hold the start button and the mode button at the same time until you hear a beep, after which it will do an initial spin test. Then to set up the wifi/app you need to do the same and press the wifi button. Pros 1. Does exactly what it's supposed to do. It cleans cat feces very effectively, especially compared to other self-cleaning rake trays that tend to shed clumps of urine and can clog the litter box with debris. 2 I haven't done a full cleaning yet, but it's very easy to disassemble, with no hard-to-reach nooks and crannies. Also, it has a junk cleaner feature which I think will clean up all the junk! This way you never have to shovel away the old litter when it's time for a new one. I already know that a full cleaning will be an easy task.3 With two cats, one a little overweight and the other less than a year old and petite, the weight tracking feature comes in very handy. 4 UV disinfection I didn't know about is also a great feature. 5 Uses any type of clump filler so you don't need a specific or special product. 1 The hole is quite high off the ground and the step costs a ridiculous Almost $100 if I am already paying $600 for the tray it should come with a step that is just a piece of plastic. I'm pretty handy/tricky so I'll make my own. More annoying than anything. 2 Filling the ball is impractical, but I'm going to build a simple feeder where I can pour the filler outside the ball and it will slide. 3 The price is high in my opinion, but quite comparable to other rotating trays. If I just look at it and see how it works and the materials didn't scream anything that's why it's expensive. If I had the time, I could design and build the same basic thing for about $100. Overall, I'd recommend it to anyone who has money and wants to make tidying up as easy as possible.
