I recently started sewing and bought a small Olfa rug to start with. When it came time to buy something bigger and more versatile I ordered a different brand, assuming all rugs are the same, and they had a lot of good reviews. Stupid decision on my part, I used it once and ordered it to have this bug replaced. I haven't had any problems with any of my Olfa carpets. When the rotary cutter actually got in, I saw no cutting lines, no lint of fabric caught on the surface, no bits of surface that came loose when cutting. It just sits there, looks perfect and protects my table while creating a nice smooth cut surface. I don't know how long it will last, but I expect it will be as good for many years to come.
