This shelf was the perfect size and configuration for my newly renovated bathroom. It fits comfortably over the toilet and provides convenient parking for hair dryers, curling irons and a variety of toiletries. The side frames are well constructed from welded square tubing, heavily chrome plated after welding. The assembled unit is heavy enough to support several pounds, but only mounts to the wall with two screw holes, so care must be taken. The included screws and plastic anchors for attaching the device are a joke. The design of the unit prevents actual contact of the frame with the wall at the location of the mounting holes. This, combined with the thickness of the frame, which is itself 1/2 inch thick, prevents the short screws included in the pack from actually reaching the wall long enough to engage the anchors. You should plan on having your own screws and anchors sufficient to hold the weight you intend to use to support the device. Another issue, I really wanted a polished nickel device which was out of stock. This one However, chrome equipment was easily rebuilt with a flat sandpaper and a few hours of "elbow grease" to give my own "matte" look and remove some of the glossy high gloss finish.
