The video card is a month old, so we can draw some conclusions. What is available: this video card + intel core i5 9600kf + 1080p monitor with HDMI and 60 (70) Hz. A case with 120mm for blowing in the back wall, 3x120mm for blowing out in the upper wall (CBO from the processor) and some big one for blowing, probably about 200mm, for the entire front wall. 1) Performance: Ran Warframe, FarCry 5, Metro Exodus Sam's Story. Everywhere I set the settings to "ultra", everywhere I kept 70fps (with Vsync, without - about 100-110). The Metro turned out to be the most difficult test, in the initial scene with a funicular and huge spaces, the FPS sank to 40-45, but then I did not notice any shortcomings. 2) Heating and cooling efficiency: Only the "hairy donut" forced the fans to work, and even then only 40 percent of everything. Sam's story warmed up to 58g max, an average of about 55, while active cooling is turned on at 60g Celsius. So from this side the card is absolutely silent. The temperature in the case in the photo, the sensor circled. 3) Sounds: As I wrote in paragraph 2), there is no noise from CO at all, because it does not turn on, the passive mode is enough. It crackles a little in the Metro with Vsync turned off, and it’s cracking, and not a high-frequency throttle squeak, like the predecessor 970 had. The strange sounds described in the shortcomings appeared again in the Metro with the RTX option (ultra tracing) turned on, but this was during the first launches, then the noise became quieter and disappeared by the end of the game. Warmed up completely and went into work? Something burned out, like oil on transformers? I don't know :) The sounds are difficult to describe, there was some crackling with clicks mixed up. For the sake of experiment, I launched Sam again from scratch - nothing appeared (except for bleeding from the ears from his "accentau") 4) Overclocking: I haven’t really tried it yet, I’m still waiting for a 144Hz monitor, so I just applied the “bus” from Afterburner, which threw about a hundred to the memory / chip Just a note: the card didn't work with the bundled Deepcool Genome case raiser. Bought at the end of April for 44k.
