I use it every day on my bike (Dual Sport) and I feel completely safe. My phone will never fall off a motorcycle. It can also be used on bicycles. The only thing to consider before purchasing this item is whether it will fit the size of your phone and the diameter of the pole you will be sitting on (bike or motorbike). Would recommend and buy again (although I don't think I'll need to buy another one: this one will last me a lifetime unless someone steals it off the bike).
