First off, this rug is turquoise. I can't get the white balance right to get the color right, but it's not blue. It's blue-green. The pile is very low and the fibers are very thin, not like yarn at all. It is turned inside out and you have to weigh it for at least a day to make it relax. vacuum cleaner nice. It didn't work. It doesn't have a rubber backing but that's a plus for me because it's very dry here and the rubber backing just crumbles over time and still makes a mess. I just put pieces of laminate underneath. Some people have said pet hair gets stuck to it, but so far I haven't had that problem. I bought a 5x7 and 2x7 slider. The runner has more problems with flat lays and corners, but nothing overdone.
