I have ordered three of these lamps, two 20" and one smaller. The diffuser of the 20" diffuser arrived broken but Revain replaced it within 2 days and the replacement is fine. These are very flat LED bulbs that emit good light. I installed one on a dimmer circuit on the wall and the dimmer was causing interference in the remote that comes with the light. Switching to a simple wall switch fixes the problems. With the backlit remote control you can change the light color (warm or daylight), brightness and timer functions. They also have a "night light" setting. On the remote everything is pretty simple. You'll have to use the remote that comes with a backlight to use the nice features, otherwise you'll just get a bright daylight setting. Installation is as easy as any other light, but this one is significantly lighter than most. The aluminum base plate is a bit light for my taste. A little stiffer would be better, but that's not a problem. Avoid the "duel dimmer" problem and I think you'll be happy. Also, you need to provide 2 AAA batteries for the remote control. I hope this review helps those who might encounter the quirks I made. The pictures I've attached show the lamp off, in night light, in broad daylight and in warm conditions.
