Can't submerge in water?

The toy manufacturers that make this type of toy are not washable and obviously know nothing about life with an infant/toddler. Sorry Oball, we don't have time to "wipe down with a damp cloth" several times a day. It's so real, it's like selling a coverall just for dry cleaning. Also, unlike the original baby ball, this toy is quite heavy, and to call it a "musical" toy would be an exaggeration: it's actually a rather boring-sounding rattle.
