These books are ideal for a child learning to read. Good stories in simple words. I wouldn't say these stories are phenomenal pieces of literature or anything, but they get the job done. The books contain helpful reading tips such as "When there is an e at the end of a word, the middle vowel is usually a long vowel." Simple pictures, as if drawn by a child.
