Works great (see last first impression.)
When I first opened the packaging I thought it might be too thin but I am very pleasantly surprised, especially for such a cheap product. I think the door knob we use it on might be a bit small but it still works as it should. At first I had to think a bit about how to grab the lock to open the door, but you get used to it in a day; They designed the mechanism correctly so that it would actually be compatible with the way you normally use your hand to turn a doorknob. Opening it to use the lock is a bit trickier, but we use a separate lock anyway so that's not a problem for us.
