If you need an Instant belt then this is it for you. If you want to craft with it, we’ll it’s crumbly and not what I was looking for.

As you can see by the picture, I’m using these to act as makeshift zipper straps for my back pack. In order to seal in the knot, I was forced to get a lighter and singe the leather, I must say that it takes probably a good minute to a minute and a half to actually do real damage to it. I’ve even stress tested the ones that had a lighter under it for a while and the only way to break them is to cut them with scissors.

Probably too sturdy to tie someone up, but it works well for the finishing touch on my projects.I got some wood oil on it, and I was afraid it would stain the leather. However, it wiped right off.

This was a nice size leather. First necklace I made however apparently had a bonded joint in it which separated requiring me to start over and wasting 3 feet of leather.

I used this product to replace a leather cord on my garden hand tools. Turned out to be about the same as the original part. The tools hang from my potting bench. Advise adding some leather treatment to the cord to help guard against the elements. Easy repair!

I tried to use this leather string for the purpose of hanging my cutting boards in the kitchen while also making them look aesthetically pleasing. This product was too stiff in my opinion. It is difficult to tie this product into a proper knot and have it stay. It also broke a few times while tightening knots.

I bought this product to serve as a pair of leather shoe laces. It broke immediately with ordinary shoe tying forces. This product IS ONLY suitable for light duty use! Take care….m

Was hoping to use this leather for tying and making lanyards. It is not pliable enough for me to use for that purpose. It does seem very tough with a leather like texture. I’m unable to tell if it’s real leather or a composite. Might try some oil to soften it up some.

This is a nice roll of leather. I am using it for drawstring in purse and it is almost too stiff for that. I probably should have bought craft suede string.

I washed it with a mixture of Listerine and hydrogen peroxide, then dipped it into 70% isopropyl alcohol for hours. Hopefully, this procedure will weaken the "glue” if there is any. I only need a couple of feet, so, I want to break it from the glued part. I stretched it forcefully, scratched it with my nail, but I did not find glued part at this strip cord. It is one piece. I dried it, then, dipped it into Johnson’s baby oil for an hour, then dried it. It has become softer and smelled better…

Used this to make some new ties for my BBQ tools, super handy. I may not live long enough to use all the length that came with it, there's that much of it.
