Solid and just right. I would strongly recommend this. It's a little thick confirm thickness before you buy this. Make sure it's the right thickness

The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was a strong "shoe polish" chemical smell. I left it out and when I returned later that afternoon, the whole room reeked. It persisted for a couple of days so I resealed it and am returning. It seemed like nice cord otherwise. Good strength and the color did not transfer with handling.
