Gorgeous & Supple for cowhide :) .

I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with what I rec'd!Buying leather laces/straps for artsy stuff or necessity or replacement needs 'online' can become so very frustrating that I've more leather than I'll probably ever use in a lifetime -----but eeegads, I've likely got it baby should the next need arise (I hope)!I am guessing that it must be laser-cut due to its exceptional NON-VARIANCE of width! And not only that, it uncurls & lays absolutely flat ---unlike many other pieces that seem to strangle themselves trying to lay down flat! This ain't your Momma's cowhide folks -----she's so supple that you'd almost really wonder if it did come from a cow!I'd call it "3mm wide X just a tad under 3mm thick". almost basically square should that help anyone. Sadly for me, it was too much for my needs, but am more than happy to have it on hand. I'd recommend it in a minute to anyone needing these similar dimensions ----tis just so hard to find nice leather cut into lace-style these days :(Oh. and this ain't that glued-together-crap either. Tis one full real cowhide lacing top-to-bottom-thick :)This be: Supple // Width= nonVariance // Lies flat // and Gorgeous taboot! :)(obviously treat with conditioner in order to keep it that way but even if for 'outdoor patio kind of use hanging something' or 'gardening tools hanging' ----this be abFab!)PS: the seller's main pics do it absolutely no justice. this is one clean lace, nothing sloppy.PPS: if you, as me, still find this too thick ---you'll have a hard time finding anything thinner and still decent/supple in the 'Leather or Cowhide Search' here. For that, I suggest that you search for 'Deerskin Laces'. still strong (not as much, but.) and useable but not also no as long-lasting. T'wll be the best of both worlds if you want real leather.PPPS: NEVER go with suede, or 'faux leather' anything if you're in need of a decent-lasting and non-stretching fix, esp for anything 'heavy-or-outdoors-related'!

Pros
  • 3 x 1 x 3 inches
Cons
  • The cord may be difficult to clean
