REED Leather HIDES - Cow Skins (12 X 24 Inches 2 Square Foot, Brown) Review

I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. The reviews were important as I needed to ensure the leather was thick enough. I'm cutting out forms to apply to the high wear areas on the gas tank of a vintage motorcycle. While the thickness is perfect, it also cuts easily. The grain is a pretty decent match to the seat, but that's due to pure chance. Regardless, got what I wanted right away and the material is perfect for my needs. I patched a couple of holes in a leather chair. The color and texture don't match too well, but the quality of this stuff is top notch.

This leather is supple if a bit thin and of uniform coloration it made lovely moccasins but the weight of the material was less than expected.

No leather expert but this was what I wanted and expected when I purchased. Using as a keyboard pad for my office desk, looks great.

I got the same size of leather from another supplier couldn’t tell them apart no holes clear of bad spots would buy from them again, also Great piece of leather couldn’t find any better leather from any better places. Both came from different places.

The leather is good quality but quality control is lacking. I know leather is a natural product but the sheet that was selected and sent me has some very strong creasing and distortions. I was able to get the creases from being folded out but the large distortions on one end had to be cut off, which made the usable portion much smaller.

I bought a viking axe head from Best Buy, the wood handle I put on it needed, something, so I covered it in leather! Thanks for attention.

It worked perfectly for what I was trying to do. I will order another piece shortly.I want to get a thicker piece if possible because of the quality . The color is high qualitytoo.I would like the price to come down a bit, like $3 psf.but I want the quality so I guess I will pay until I find better for cheaper.

I have a project that I'm making and it worked perfectly for what I needed. The color was great and the texture was fantastic.

Wonderful product. & l got a sq foot. Not like the others sellin leather they say sq ft but it's in sq inches off cut That's my feedback.
