This is great. After initially bleeding the hose (see below) this can be quickly and securely connected before turning the handle, which opens the schrader valve that connects the tank to the air conditioning system. The original connections were dialless and terrible, and difficult to connect without losing freon and oil. These new ones can be connected before the dial presses on the valve. I am very happy with them. *Note that the dial must be turned far enough to open the valve and bleed the hoses while the car is still running so that you can eventually hear the freon blowing through the hoses.
