The product information advertises "6 inches," and "Distortion Free," and "we use REAL glass, precision fixed for an anti-distortion lens." It also advertises "this 10x Magnifying Mirror Lens does exactly what you expect."None of these statements is true.The actual diameter is 5.85", which fine ok. The clear bevel is .56", and x2, which leaves an actual mirror size of 4.73". Smaller than my guess from the pictures, but ok.The real problem is that the edges of the mirror are convexed from the edge an additional .65" from each edge, which severely distorts those edges. So the effective actual un-distorted mirror size is 4.73-(.65x2)= 3.43 inches! Which happens to be the size of the 3.5 inch true edge-to-edge mirror that I already own that I bought this one to replace.I have no ability to explain why so many deceptive products on Ebay get so many 5-star reviews. I also suppose there is a reason that larger 10x mirrors are expensive. Cheap ones like this one, with so much of the mirror edge area being distorted, are pointless.The mirror otherwise seems to be good enough quality. I suspect that all similarly priced mirrors of this size on Ebay may have the same manufacturing limitations. Some of the possibly more accurately described mirrors seem to be maybe 4x the price of this one.
